We, at First Choice Health Centers, Inc., are SO GRATEFUL to Dime Bank Foundation, Inc. for providing funding that will allow us to purchase an adaptive exam table for our health center at 150 Main Street in Manchester to coincide with the expansion of services there to include pediatric care.
Our staff have found that standard exam tables can be a barrier to providing the safe and dignified appointment every patient deserves. Children, the elderly, and patients with mobility issues struggle to climb onto the standard exam table and our staff (and patient caregivers) find themselves at risk for injury as they attempt to assist these patients.
Our new high-low exam table will adjust to a variety of positions to suit each patient’s comfort and will be an option for any patient in need. We will post photos once it arrives.
